buying a '66 karmann ghia as a restoration project. anyone have an opinion on whether a 1600cc engine will perform well or not. i know i can stroke it out to 18something in the future if i'm not happy, but any input from the car nuts out there is always welcome

Heh, don't screw around with rebuilding the silly little 1600 - put a real engine in.
