is it the worst pain ever? do you feel like you are gonna :puke: ?

here is a site (http://kickedindanuts.com/index2.html) where they kick guys in the nads and then show you the pics and vids.

does it make you sick just watching another guy get his berries bruised?

I would say its pretty painful. There is literally no defense there and so you are just beating on an organ. Definitely not a good thing. Also, i think it might be that your body knows tha this is an important part of you and so lots of people i know pass out right off even if it wasn't to hard a shot to them... But who knows.. Maybe boys are just wimps..

I have heard people compare that pain with ovarian pain (kinda makes sense) but since I have no ovaries, I have no frame of reference to compare it to. It does hurt... more of a deep inside dull pain than a sharp or superficial pain. Never made me feel like puking though... and have never come near passing out from it... just makes you bend over for a little while till the pain subsides.

Its a pain that is unique from all other types of injuries. When you're first hit there, you don't feel anything at first, but your system sorta goes into a shock, as it subconsiously knows what's coming. Its more than just a pain, though. There's a hollowness, a completely empty feeling in your guts that washes over you, and your stomach goes queasy and you become short of breath. The pain comes, and lingers for a good long time. It takes a number of minutes to completely subside, and the queasiness and hollowness (like your guts just got vacuumed out of you) subside only slowly along with it. And yeah, the pain itself is like a strong but dull aching right in your scrotum.

Oh... btw... one thing that I was always curious about... has any women ever gotten kicked or hit hard there (the area where they would have nads were they men)? I was wondering how that would feel.

Put much a full shot the nads feels like some has grabbed your lower intestines... and ripped them up through your stomach and over your head...

More or less... it is a sensation that has deep throbbing waves of pain that makes you feel like your next breath will be your last. It hurts to walk, it hurts to sit... pretty much it hurts to live for like the next 15 minutes to an hour.

My worst incident involved gettin hit in the nads playing baseball and I wasn't wearing a cup (yeah... my bad, but I was like 12 or so..) I swear, I thought I was gonna friggin' die right there on the field... :2far:

I'd imagine to them it would feel about the same as us gettin' kicked in the upper thigh without being a direct shot to "da boyz"... Still hurts, but doesn't double you over in excruciating pain.

I had a collapsed lung back in March. The tube was the size of my ring finger, lodge between my ribs and into my lungs to extract the air out. So painful that even morphine doesn't take away the pain.

Although, remember ladies, if you are trying to escape from an attacker, addreniline helps us ignore that pain for a while. So your kicking him in the nads will just make your attacker angry. It's better to go for more vital organs like the throat and eyes.

the throat is a vital organ? i am being serious here, a kick to the throat will put a guy down? i can see a jab to the eyes working.

molecularfire

The throat isn't technically an organ but if you can hit a guy there you should be able to stop a guy long enough to get away. Unless the guy happens to be lying down, never try to kick anybody in the throat. Too far a distance, you'll never get to it in time and you'll be vulnerable while kicking because you're on one foot. All he has to do is walk up close to you and will be able to easilly knock you to the floor (probably not the position you want to be in that situation). As a general rule, the face is a good way to go... gouge the eyes, nose, throat, stuff that will slow him down long enough to get away.

Shots like that can make us wince... just thinkin' about it, however with the current WWE matches and such where low blows are more and more comonplace, we have become more "desensitized" to seeing it on TV...

Getting kicked in the balls hurts like hell, but it really depends, was it just a glance, and hurts for a quick second or was it full on. If it was full on, it can hurt, it really depends, You can get dropped to the ground and barely move cause it hurts so much or you can walk it off depends on how hard they are hit. Baseball or soccer ball both hurt like hell.

A. Don't punch him in the nads, but grab and pull, only problem with that, the attacker will probably just punch you in the face and knock you out....

B. Do what revil said and go for another part, I say a good kick to the side of the knee blowing out some ligaments.

C. Scream like a little girl and hope somebody helps.

Good point about the knee. Be careful when you do it not to get your legs tangled in his though... remember, you're not trying to win the fight, just slow him down enough for you to get the heck away. Last thing you want is to be wrestling him on the floor. Making a lot of noise is also a great idea... even if nobody helps it might be enough to scare him away.

Don't know. The doctors said that it normally happens to tall young slender men, but women and other men are not excluded. Some people are even born like this. They do say that smoking, asthma and other lung diseases increase your chance of getting a collapsed lung tho. I don't smoke or drink much so its kinda of weird. I don't really fit in the "high risk" category at all.

Several of the patients I've seen with spont. pneumos were smoking marijuana at the time, and my surgeon buddies say that many of the VATS cases they do for pneumos are related to MJ smoking also...the whole breath holding then coughing thing.

Then again, some people just drop lungs for no apparent reason.

She should pull out her pepper spray/mace and blind the bastard. And if the guy is immune to that, he must be a real psycho and nothing you could do short of killing him will help you. Thats why I recommend women get concealed weapons permits if your state allows and carry a small revolver in your purse. Make sure you practice with it enough at the range to get good enough to make it valuable in that situation. Its a scary world, and if I were a female I wouldnt count on a shot to the balls to even finger nails to the eyes of stopping a lunatic.

I agree with Canta. Many states now allow CCW permits and have reciprocity with other states. I know several people who legally carry. If I were a woman I'd definitely consider it.

Agree with that also. If you do decide to carry, consider taking a CCW course and spend LOTS of time at the range until you're comfortable. It's a huge responsibility, but it can be a lifesaver (literally). Same goes with tasers, especially the newer ones. If you're uncomfortable or incompetent, you could be at a big disadvantage, despite having a weapon.

Definitly agree also. If you can't handle a pistol then definitly get pepper spray. That stuff is harsh. I was on a bus once when someone in the front sprayed it. One little spray was enough to have everyone on the bus crying and coughing. We had to pull over and all get out and wait for the police. That was just one spray about 30 feet away. I couldnt imagine what a big shot of it right in your face would feel like.

Oh I know. Real psychos arent affected by it much. Thats why I suggested getting a gun before. Heck, you could get Mace or something even harsher than pepper spray. But I'm not sure mace is legal in all states.
