Yea it depends on what type of car you have if you have a rice rocket....a nitrous can blow out your block but a blower is not likely to do that.....although at the track a nitrous kit is better with quartermile times...i would still go with a blower if you don't want to spend extra money beefing up your block

nitrous is fine. i ran a 100 shot of nitrous in my cr-x that was turbo. you would indeed have to build your block.
If by blower you mean by supercharger, you will not necessarily have to build up your bottom end if you go with a conversative boost of 6psi from the Jackson Racing Supercharger.
People run 50 shot NOS fairly safely without building up the engine. You can run both NOS and a 'charger if you like.
I believe people can run a 6psi-8psi Supercharger or up to a 75 shot of NOS and still not need to upgrade internals.
If you mean blower by turbo you'll have to build up your bottom end anyway. In general, everything in extremes, from NOS or turbo to a full NA setup, you will need to build bottom end.
cheaper to go with nitrous oxide, but i'd rather go with a supercharger

TURBO baby...Only if you do the set up correctly.. I have seen many who think they have because they spent many $$$, but was not actually. I suggest you ask around and if the mechanic is credited.
