S: Ding

Noticed a ding on the driver's side rear quarter panel of my rather new car yesterday. I buffed the scratches out (mainly scratches in the wax), but the ding is noticeable (to me). Suckage.

Thats the worst... Like the first ding in a new car.. I almost cried... But then i realized its ok, just gives it charater. :) Then i cried...

my new car got dinged in its first week. since i don't want to pay $75 to have it removed, i just try to ignore it, but it still bugs me that my beautiful car has that small blemish.

Living in N.O., I expected it would happen sooner or later. My old car had so many it was ridiculous. I actually watched someone hit it during Mardi Gras...they made a 3 point turn and one point was against my drivers' door.

But the first one on my new car officially qualifies as suckage. It's small, but metallic paint reflects a lot...annoys the hell outta me. I'll probably just wait until I collect a few more dings before getting it fixed...it might be less $$/ding.

If you makes you feel any better, I got rear-ended by a Dodge Ram king cab truck last week.

It left a very large "ding" in my car. ($500 worth) He had insurance, luckily.
