Okay, that is truly one of the stupidest things to do in the world. First off, it's an excursion. Secondly that much stereo equipment does not belong in a car unless you plan to live in it. I prefer to spend my cash to a home theater rather for my car. Just me though I guess.

no offense, but did you read the article? it was done
by kenwood, a demo/project car..

tuning shops do all sorts of project cars..

neuspeed is even selling their project passat on ebay,
or was last time i checked..

1552 design, one of the leading volkswagen sport tuners,
does tons of project cars..

why can't an audio equipment manufacturer do one?

Yeah, I read the article. Even though the company has money. . . it's a complete waste of money and that's the kind of stuff that makes their products so high in price. Totally unrealistic. But that's just me. Never got into auto audio.

yeah if some sound company want to impress me, they need to do it in a more realistic way. why cant they come up with some kind of super speaker that makes as much noise as 10 subwoofers but takes up the amount of space of 1? it's still a waste of money, but that seems way more interesting to me. that way they are advancing the technology instead of just staking up components until they run out of room
