/me thinks rhetorically that question as i look at the number of people i have on my AIM buddy list.
theres quite a lot, though i speak with only a handful at the most.
i have at least spoken to each of these people maybe once in my online life, and some stay, some go, some return and i remember them, and some return and i forget where i met them from. i forgot their name to begin with! im a little shy and feel awkward saying hello again, so i just keep the names on.
ive come to accept that i am bad with names, but i almost never forget a face. probably why i forget the real names of some of the people on my list.
plus im too lazy to clean out those i dont remember or dont talk to much anymore. maybe im a sentimentalist at heart - i like to keep ties with people, especially friends, long-time or once-in-a-blue-moon, even people i dont know anymore or speak to anymore. maybe cuz i think in the end, memories are all we have left, and i cherish them as treasures. having said that, if my memory goes, i guess ill be very poor, no?

just thinkin outloud...

thats why in the "comment" section, u put their name or any other info (like bdays) that u needa remember. quite handy! :)

right - woulda been handy. but no, i never did that. coulda woulda shoulda.

i figured id keep in touch, or theyd keep in touch, but somehow they just fall off the face of the earth. or you end up not talking much after a few weeks, and that was that.

i really should pare it down to those that DO keep in touch, though i know there are some on my list that (again for sentimental reasons) i prefer to keep around. i dont see them anymore, and i wonder what happened to them. these are people i know by name, by the way. makes you sometimes fear for the worst.

I would try to make the connection with those people again. Don't be shy. They might be wondering about you too. If they get pissed off, so what! People with bad attitudes are not worth your time.

She is? :eek3:

Proof that complete honesty isn't necessarily the best thing in a relationship.
