I want some brownies really bad. But most of the recipies I can find suck, and I hate boxed mixes. No not :bandit: brownies. Maybe I should add some mint extract to one of these recipies... I dunno.

Hahahahahaha, I guess someone went from one mindless thought to the New Thread button. I think my friend had a good recipe I'll ask her for, but you really should follow decorum and label the title correctly. The first part of it should read, "OBBY HELP!"

Yeah I was thinking obby, but I didn't want to single her out. :)

That says nothing about cooking. Bah! Maybe the health matter part. I dunno.

Just work with us here... read between the lines. :D

Besides, most of the "Dear Obby" stuff just goes there. Do a search for "Dear Obby" to see what I am talkin' about. :D

See, softerside used to be called "GirlsGot|Deals?" and it was a really scarry place to go into. It was filled with threads that no GAM would want to moderate so they renamed it softerside. Where girls, homosexuals, and metros alike could post. You can think of it as like the anti-automotive forum. Though slowly it's becomeing the softcore side....where all the sex questions go.

My mom makes layered brownies with a layer of Hershey's Treasures in the middle. They could be used as payment to a hitman.

Hershey's Treasure? that sounds like a bad practical joke. What is it?

My bad. It's Nestle, not Hershey's.

3 cups flour, 2 cups Hersheys baking cocoa, 3 large eggs, 2 cups sugar (white sugar) 1 teaspoon baking soda, pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon vanilla, or chocolate extract, 1 cup oil (I only use olive oil), and water-about 1/2 cup. Mix dry mix together-then if you want to add nuts, choc. chips, peanut butter chips mix it in with the dry ingredients. beat eggs, oil together-add vanilla or chocolate (or mint if you like)..then mix wet and dry mix together..
bake in greased pan at 350 until a knife comes out clean. cool then cut.

Olive oil in brownies? I love olive oil but it seems like it might be a little out of place in brownies. I'll have to try it.

I don't use ANY kind of oil EVER. period.
You don't even taste it in baking. All other oils should be outlawed. I stick with Berio or Bertoli oil-they are the best. (and I buy the BIG HUGE metal containers of it-6 at a time lol)
I totally recommend using olive oil in your diet every single day. Its health benefits outweigh the fact that it's a fat in your diet. Plus it tastes damn good...sometimes all I'll for dinner is romaine lettuce dipped in olive oil with basil and salt. I'm gonna give you a recipe and I want you to try it and tell me its not the best....

..Dust boneless chicken breasts in flour and let sit.
chop 2 HEADS of garlic, and 6 green onions and fry in a pan of Heated oil (use ALOT OF OIL..almost enough so that it's like a deep fryer...add a bit of salt, and a bit of pepper, then drop the chicken in the heated oil and garlic and fry (it will cook quickly if you pound the chicken flat before coating with flour)...once the chicken is browned on both sides, take out and drain..then, use the oil, garlic, and onions in the pan as a sauce for pasta....i know I know..your'e saying OMG YOU USE THE GREASE you cook the chicken in? and the answer is yes..it's the same as using oil, or butter that you baste a Thanksgiving turkey in as part of the stock for gravy..
you will LOVE THIS..and the more garlic and green onions you use-the better.
