hes cool, i really dont mind him around. just the fact that he keeps building his damn house in front of my screen door... i always have to be careful not to run into it!

i keep having to tear part of it down and "paste that side" to somewhere away from the door, but i dont think he gets the hint. i'd talk to him, but there's this language barrier, you know.

This is gonna sound kinda mean, but back the old days, i would take a syringe, fill it up with alcohol. Then I would use that along with a lighter and flame torch the poor spiders....:P

I dunno about you, but I think a cat isn't exactly in the same classification as a spider.
I don't like spiders much, i once say this tv show about this guy who had a spider sting him. after 24hrs, he the venom spread thru his thigh. He ended up having to go to ER and they pretty much took the infected tissue out, leaving a hole the size of a softball. Err nasty stuff. So I don't have much simpathy for those 8 legged arachnids.

Charlotte's web anyone? I loved that movie as a kid. Spiders rock, they keep all the insects out of my garage. Of course, I saw a couple of Black widows the other day and had to kill them, too dangerous. I felt like a criminal doing it tho.

I love how red is like, yeah i watch out for the spider, and i kinda wish he wouldn't get in my way. And then everyone that follows, is simply listing of ways that they have or would kill a spider. I think its great that you are letting the little guy hang around. I bet he appreciates it and is doing his best to keep your place bug free. I encourage the big brown spiders to hang around my yard and i have a family of 4 that build some of the most amazing webs... Of course i dont use the front door anymore, but what can you do.
