Yeah, yeah, I'm familiar with the rules. But even so, it would be a very easy thing to do. Any current registered user could log in, change the personal information assigned to the account (from theirs to anyone elses), then give the current log-in information to that same "anyone else". Then "anyone else" could log in to the account, change the password, and voila` -- the account, the points ... it's all "anyone else's". See how easy that is?

Danny Bonaduce on Wednesday sued Los Angeles radio personality Jamie White, his former cohort at 98.7 Star FM, for allegedly slandering him on air while he was in rehab last May.

The former Partridge Family fixture claims White, who still cohosts a morning show for Star, lied about him showing up high for work, and is seeking compensatory and punitive damages from her.

There was no immediate comment from Star or White.

According to the Los Angeles Superior Court complaint, Bonaduce alleges White made "numerous false and defamatory statements" about him during his stay in a residential drug-treatment center. He quotes her as telling listeners: "I've been so patient about all of this crap, you know. I've been so freaking patient about and I've dealt with it, and I've dealt with [Bonaduce] being higher than a kite on this show."

Bonaduce, 46, asserts he "never was under the influence of alcohol or drugs while performing his broadcasting duties for the station."

He also claims White dissed him by claiming that the station couldn't insure him because of substance abuse issues, that he cursed out his daughter in front of coworkers and that he chose to go into drug treatment because it would make for good TV.

Bonaduce worked for the station for six years before being fired this summer--he was was let go from the station less than a month after returning to the show June 6 after completing rehab.

The backstory for the lawsuit is currently playing out on Breaking Bonaduce, which has become a minor hit for VH1.

Since its debut two weeks ago, the fly-on-the-wall series has Bonaduce's compulsive behavior juxtaposed with lighthearted moments with his wife and family.

The show has been blasted by some critics, however, for letting cameras roll as the sobriety-challenged actor began using steroids and even tried to commit suicide (off-camera) after an alcohol-fueled meltdown.

Arrrgghh... it happened to me too! I wanted that LEVI's gift certificate and kept refreshing at 4:38 PM until I saw the "BUY" sign, then when I clicked, it was sold out! Geez.. I caught the tail end of Gretchen Bonaduce on Kevin & Bean (KROQ) this AM and the Bonaduces seem to be still together and trying to work things out. She kept stressing that Danny's a wonderful father and that she's sticking it out with him for the kids' sake. And although they couldn't openly talk about the lawsuit, basically she agreed with K&B that Jaime was full of crap and K&B told her that they are 100% behind taking down that bee-yotch. :) Also, they told her that they wanted Danny to come on K&B once he was legally able to and she kept stressing that he was dying to. Since K&B have been undergoing their own long, slow, slide into oblivion since they got rid of Poor Man, MMM & others during KROQ's "night of long knives" & effectively abandoned the playing of (gasp!) music during their morning broadcast, of course they're feeling the pressure from a radio station that still does play music, however bad the morning group of idiots are in between songs (songs, not "sets." :disa: )

I'd love to see Danny put in a regular appearance over at KROQ. Maybe he could get them to start playing something other than the same 5 songs over & over? :hihi: At the very least he should be able to light a fire under K&B, who've been getting very stale the last 5 or 6 years or so...

Does anyone but me find it a little too coincidental that Jaime announces she's pregnant right after Danny sues her? If I were really cynical (okay, I am) and thought Jamie was a ridiculously manipulative bitch who will stop at nothing to protect her own ass (okay, I do), I'd think she got preggers on purpose to hopefully get some sympathy from Danny, who clearly has a soft spot for kids. Thoughts?

She'll try to get everyone on her side by singing the "poor me, Danny is suing me and I'm pregnant" blues. An even better plot still, would be that there is actually no pregnancy to begin with, but she'll work it to get the attention and sympathy, then claim that all the stress from the lawsuit caused her to lose the baby. She's so coniving and manipulative - she really gives a bad name to women. But if she really is pregnant, the one I feel sorry for is the baby -- being born to a mom like Jamie White and her non-committed, barely legal, boy-toy. Sigh.

Wasn't she talking about wanting a baby long before Danny was fired? I don't listen anymore, so I don't know what she's saying about how it happened (they are both old enough to know how to prevent pregnancies!), or if the father is happy or thinks she tricked him into it, but I wouldn't be surprised if she dumps him and just becomes a single mother, just because she wants to take care of more than a cat before she's too old (in her opinion) to be a mom. I was surprised when they got back together again, and I don't know if it was only because of her getting pregnant, but obviously they were still fooling around even though Jamie was allegedly annoyed with him keeping in touch with his ex who has cancer.
I feel sorry for the baby too. Unless Jamie suddenly becomes a more rational, mature person, the child is in for a rough time.

Yea, I think you're right in that she was talking for a while (I don't listen anymore either) about having a baby before she's too old (she's my age - 37). What I find astounding is that so many of you who don't even listen to the show can muster up so much enmity for another human being, especially one who has never done anything to you. I'd guess that most of you, like me, have never even met Jamie. For the record Jamie and The Snowboarder are happy about the pregnancy. While I know nothing specific about the circumstances of the conception, trust me Jamie and The Snowboarder won't be the first parents to conceive while utilizing birth control. (Heck, they're not even the first couple on the show to have that happen. Jack and Sparkles conceived Lucy prior to their marriage too.) I have a 39 year old friend with two children (11 & 7 1/2) who last weekend announced that she is pregnant and that's after her husband had a vasectomy almost eight years ago. The child is definitely his and he is apparently the 1 in 100,000 men who has had their vasectomies spontaneously reconnect. Jamie will adjust to her new role the same way every other expectant mother does, over time. Will she be my definition of the perfect mother, maybe not, but I'm betting that her child will still think the world of her.

BTW, The Snowboarder nearly lost his life in a motorcycle accident yesterday and is in the hospital. Jamie was very nearly a single mother and not by choice. If he had not been wearing a helmet he would most assuredly have died.

Interesting point ihrtcal. Speaking for myself, though I don't listen to the show now, I did listen to it when Danny was there for years. It really was a great show, and I for one blame Jamie 100% for getting Danny fired. He did his share (ok, more than his share) of dumb stuff, but he never sabotaged her the way she did when he went to rehab. Remember when she took a month leave of absence & didn't tell anyone where she went? Danny totally stuck with her, at least publicly. But the day Danny went into rehab, she stuck the knife in his back and called for him being fired, even on the air (thus Danny's lawsuit against her). I miss the old morning show and blame her for making my 90 minute morning commute less enjoyable, and judging by the outcry against the current show, I'm not alone.

Thanks Oreos-n-milk. Your response is understandable. I too think the show was better with Danny on it (for most of it's run anyway). He balanced her in many situations, but he did seem to self-destruct in the last year or so. I'm sorry for him. You know the phrase, "the love of money is the root of all evil." I don't think Danny loved money per se, but he sure does love the spotlight and being on television. I think he liked the stability of the radio show in terms of how it helped him provide for his family, but in his eyes it could never hold a candle to television. Jamie on the other hand understands that morning radio in LA is her dream job.

I know there are a lot of feelings out there about Jamie's treatment of Frosty and Frank (her co-hosts prior to Danny) and Danny, but for whatever reasons the radio gods have rightly or wrongly built the morning show around her, and her co-hosts know it. Danny took a paycut to return to LA just so he could work with Jamie and ulitimately, simultaneously pursue television. He seems to have gotten what he wanted. Maybe Jamie will manage to work the pregnancy and child to her advantage in the slander lawsuit, but don't forget that Danny is also working it for media access and self-promotion. If the television show(s) were more successful Danny wouldn't have time for the lawsuit. He'll do whatever keeps him in the spotlight, all publicity is good publicity and such.

I sure am a cynic about some aspects of "Hollywood." I guess as a native Angeleno "celebrities" just don't impress me. They have the same failings as the rest of us.

I've been reading this forum for a long time...I have also been a Star listener since the early Jamie, Frostie and Frank days. So, I guess you could say I'm a loyal listener. In fact, I still listen every morning even with Danny gone. The most recent string of comments bashing Jamie and her preganancy compelled me to register and reply.

I'll agree that the show was much better with Danny. However, Danny's daily rantings and tails of substance abuse and cheating on his wife were nothing but pathetic. The fact that he attempted to glamourize his issues with with tinsel town hype made them even more pathetic. He is smart, he cn be funny, but he is also transparent and rather disgusting. He's a mess...I don't blame Jamie for getting frustrated. Unless we were sitting there in the studio, none of us have any idea what kind of risk he put the show in. I have been around a lot of people with similar issues and they are beyond difficult to deal with, even when they are sober.

Jamie is hilarious. Yes, obnoxious, but that is part of why she is so funny. Sorry, guys, but she actually says the things that most of us girls are thinking. The tales of her "love life" are kind of like Sex in the City on the radio, and that is what keeps most people I know engaged in the show.

I think that it is outrageous that people are now bashing her because of her pregnancy. She and Snowboarder have been together quite a while. They seem to love each other, and they seem to have a normal relationship. Oooops...pregnant. Big deal. (My parents got pregnant before they were married and that was in the 50s. They were happily together until my dad died.) I wish Jamie & SB and their little punkin love, happiness and all of the best.

Regarding bashing her for her sabbatical...hello, her mom passed away, she worked with a drug addict, she had been thru a bad break up, the list goes on. At least she had the moxy to deal with her issues privately. I am mortified that a bunch of people who confess that they never even listen to the show any more could be so insensitive and harsh.

Wow Diva, must feel good to get that off your chest. I really don't read anyone bashing her for her pregnancy, her sabbatical, or that she didn't have reason to take it. That's the point - NOBODY bashed her for it, notably Danny. But when Danny took time off to work on his own stuff, she unloaded the most unholy and very public rant I've ever heard. Were you listening then? It was awful (or, in your words, insensitive and harsh). So much for her moxy of working stuff out in private.

Regarding her pregnancy, I don't bash the fact that she's pregnant or her relationship with her latest & greatest. If it works for her, great. I just question her timing and motives, that's all. If you don't, that's cool too.

I love these "prizes" they keep offering!
