Anyone else playing in the stress test? I got in and I've been playing off and on. I'll say if you've played DAOC this game will remind you a lot of that game.
So far so fun though.

Heh i am interested to see what people think of the game. I am in closed beta right now... err well my brother is :P
Having a ton of fun with my guild, lvl 48 Paladin right now.
the game still needs a lot of higher lvl work, new spells after 30 etc, so we'll have to see how long it takes for it to come out. I know they are pushing for a release before xmas this year.

Man, I keep pushing off my papers and homework just to play this more haha. Sucks, I wish this was closed beta instead of just a stress test...going to get all this stuff lost in a few days :eek3:

Booty Bay is in the southern tip of Stranglethorn Vale. The zone is 30-45ish i would say, but the path is usually somewhat safe until you get to the arena. There are some ranged trolls there than can really do some damage to a lower lvl char.
You get there by running south from Duskwood. And from BB you can take a boat to ratchet which is in Kalimdore on the horde side.

Stress test is over today. Best bet is if you get into open beta in a month or so.

ha ha ha a month or so... lol.
From the current state of the game i would say they would be pushing it to try and get to their mid Nov release date.
too much stuff hasn't been implemented yet, mainly higher lvl items.
a lot of balancing still to go and not every class has talents yet. next 2 are druids and shamans, then maybe paladins, hunters & warlocks. so that is 2 patches right there.
usually it is about 1 patch a month.
They could release the game in nov/dec, but i don't think it would be completely ready. yes it is a good game already but it doesn't have everything they need to make it a great game. A lot of content is still lacking.

Doesnt mean they wont open beta early. Daoc did, well it wasnt really open but they sent out invites to everyone who signed up. Shadowbane did (but we know it sucked anyway).
