If so, what version support it? I have a four-year-old version.

Ghost 2003 does, but my brother got two DVDR coaster from the two attempts at using that feature.

Yup... but as stated, you need Ghost 2003.
I have copied my whole 30GB system partition to 4 DVDs... which would have taken roughly 25 - 28 CDs to do the same thing. :thumb:

Dual-layer dvds or something??? You are obviously using something more than standard 4.7s..Forgive the naivety

Ghost's compression is one of the things that makes it a great program. I have (in the past) dumped a 3GB nearly-full partition to two CDRs.

Nope... standard single layer disks with HIGH compression. :thumb:
Of the 30GBs... I compressed about 27.5 GBs of info.

I'm doing the same thing right now as I post. My 80GB RAID is having problems and I have tried copying the partition with mixed results. Hopefully Ghosting the array then restoring it to a new HD will fix the problem. Unfortunately, high compression isn't working that well for me and I'm already on my 6th DVD-R disk.

Yeah... some files don't compress as well as others. But on average I'd say that you can get it down to around half of the uncompressed size...
4.7 GB x 4 = 18.8 GB of stored space (30 GB/2 = 15 GB)...
(80GB / 2) / 4.7 = roughly 8 DVD disks

It wasn't a full 80GB worth of data, more like 65MB. It completely filled 8 4.7GB DVDs. I just finished checking them too - that took a looooooong time as well. Now I get to restore it to my new drive and see if it works this time.
