Buy it for yourself and see...

I've played the battlenet beta, and it's a whole new world. Considering I played the same 3 levels about 20 times in a day, I think it's safe to say it's a great game.

However, if you have doubts, then wait until all the magazines (online and print) start publishing their reviews. Shouldn't be too long, like maybe a week after release. Besides you have tons of just released games that rock like Shogun, Deus Ex, and Icewind Dale.
