So I'm moving to a new temporary apartment where I will only have a *gasp* phone line to connect to the internet. I could get some cheap 56k service from my work, but I have heard that in peak times you get busy signals so that is a no go. I have an open phone line in my office that I was thinking that I could use to connect to my PC, which I could set up to share my internet connection from work. Is it that simple? I haven't set up an XP box in this fashion but it seems like I should just be able to do it.
What do you all think?
Gracias.

Maybe one of your neighbors has a wireless cloud you could leech?

Hehe believe me I have thought about it, however there are only 2 apartments close enough and they don't even have computers.

56k? Perish the thought! Here's what you need to do:
1. Buy a wireless that has a range of about 2500 miles.
2. Share my connection.
