Heh I was wondering are the people who make video games for consoles just a lot better at sniffing out problems? They rarely have any glich that needs patching.. then agian they can't patch now can they?

COnsole developers have one HUGE advantage: ONE PLATFORM. They only have to worry that the game will run on that one platform. Meanwhile, PC games have to be able to run on a multitude of platforms, like Pentium/Athlon systems, GeForce and Voodoo cards, etc. Console developers can make hacks to make sure some part of the game won't crash, while if you do such a hack on a PC game, that hack might work on one platform, but it might not work on another.

Ditto to what gear02, thats about everything different with pc and platforms. It's not really the software its the hardware of the pc that makes games more glitchy. Hence we get driver updates all the friggin time.

true true
but there are some times serious glitches like not able to finish a round if a certain thing is done.
Then agian platforms have that occur too =)
Just wondering what happens when someone find something really wrong with the platform game =P

They either shoot the programmer or the game company ignores it. Either way once a console game is out in public, there's no way to "patch" it. This might change now that consoles have hard drives and internet connections.
