Question for you Gmail users

Have you used any of the third-party tools for Gmail, like the Firefox plugin or the PST converter? Just curious what your experiences with some of the tools are. Any favorites?

i use the firefox one that checks your gmail account for new messages. it works well. i like it

i use the official gmail notifier on my pc and a similar program on the mac. I used to use pop goes the gmail which acted as a pop/smtp relay between your gmail, but it broke when google changed its api. I haven't used it since then because I am enjoying the web based mail.

I just checked and they have indeed updated pop goes the gmail and renamed it gpopper. I'm trying it now.

I did install the firefox extension but I don't like the Google toolbar so I remove it.
