Has anybody used Skype out there? How do you guys compare it to yahoo msgr & MSN msgr? Has anybody tried broadband to dialup? any quality issues or rather any issues at all?

I've used Skype for a while now, and it works really well (even for international calls to countries that don't have as much bandwidth as we do here in the US).

I have a 1.6 Mbps connection on my end, and I've found that it uses up less bandwidth than yahoo messenger and MSN.

Hows the call quality? I've folks inside and outside US who use dial up and are interested to know how the quality will be on their side. I've a DSL so I don't have any issues. I'm just worried abt the dial up users I talk to using Skype. Any inputs on that djsusm?

i think the audio quality is awesome. It is much better than anything else I have seen

I use vonage its great and i think cheaper. Just like useing bell south.

How is it cheaper? I haven't had to pay anything for skype (except for the bandwidth :winkie: )

Yup! its supposed to be real cheap for overseas to landlines but then I was looking at their skype to skype voice chat using their VOIP.
