I chose Barbarian as my guy, and when I play against other ppl on TCP/IP game, I always get my butt kicked. For example, Amazons are always too far away from me for me to slice them up (the five-shot bow skill is annoying). Necro has this skill that will inflict 260% damage back to me (so I would kill myself before I kill them). Any good tips for playing as Barbarian? any advice would be appreciated
Hmm.... The leap attack can surprise your opponents... Do you have EQ that gives you resistance? Stun is helpful too.

See, how can I beat them when the opponent can inflict 260% damage back to me, even if I stun them or leap attack them, I'm still killing myself.. anyways that I can get around that??
Does it still inflict damage back to you if you throw exploding potions? Or poison?

I think ranged weapons work
but you should have more health then them anyways so carry a big belt of potions =)

we don't return 260% damage; we only return 200% of the damage you inflict on us, but most necros don't put too many points into vitality; i'm probably the weird necro on battle.net, but i've put almost every point i have received into strength or vitality, and i've let my energy (mana) remain almost constant. I have 200 mana, but that is only because of the additions that items give me. Oh well.

PS - and iron maiden only works on melee attacks, so you ould use anything long distance...but we have better spells to use too...
for example, i enjoy using amplify damage with my bone spirit; those two, working in conjunction provide a heat seeking ball of light that will do 156-196 damage, ignores armor, and only costs 14 mana. Heh heh, gotta love it; who needs a weapon?
