Best car racing game for XBox?

whats the one thats closest to the Gran Tourismo-style of play?
or whats your favorite/considered the best racing game?

Closest to Gran Turismo style is Sega GT. Prject Gotham 2 was fun but had little replay value.

I'd say if you havent already played it on pc, get Need For Speed: underground. Its probably the best racing game on xbox.

NFS Underground is as little like Gran Turismo as possible. The only simmilarity is that you drive cars. Try Sega GT if you want the Turismo-esque feel.

I tend to like the less arcade/more simulation oriented ones.

DTM Race Driver 2 and Richard Burns Rally are at the top of my list.

Another vote for Richard Burns Rally (aside from the fact i've never played it.... i REALLY want to get it). :)

There is supposed to be a GT-killer in the works for xbox, but I forget what it was called. read good things about project gotham 2 too.
