Hey, as some of you might know, I made my first eBay purchase yesterday

I bought it from a company called www.buyessex.com .

The auction link (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=39758&item=5721837629&rd=1) (it's closed, I'm the winner :P)

For $44, I'd rather not have a used Jensen when I found a new model for $30, so I really want to cancel! I paid through credit card (Mastercard) last night, but as of 5pm EST today, they have not taken any credit from my account. If I send them an e-mail about it, do you think they could cancel my order?

They have a return policy on non AS-IS items (mine's non AS-IS), but I'd have to pay shipping. Do I have to outline how if they cancel my order, they can save money on shipping it out to me since I'm going to ship it right back?

Am I too late? :neartears Please help!

You may be stuck. Ebay has a line in there somewhere about your bid being a binding contract. Once you place your bid you are obligated to pay up and accept the item as advertised. A cool seller may cancel the order, but since the auction concluded successfully they will be charged both the listing fee and a percentage of the final sale price. Even if they do refund your money they will most likely want those expenses covered.

just send an email and ask. tell them your found it cheaper. hell, thell them you'll pay them $30 if they want, but otherwise you'll be sending it right back.
