i know p3rsian hasn't made many friends on the forums with his attitude, but people who like to yell "go back where you came from" make me sick. are you completely ashamed of your heritage tupac, that you feel no need to celebrate it? anyone middle-eastern has to handle some pretty narrow minded stereotypes right now, so people who stand up to it and show pride instead of shame should be applauded! i'm half vietnamese, and my mother was born in the north (communist half during the war)... does that mean i should never mention anything about the viet culture cuz it's now a communist country? should i "get the hell out of here" because i believe that despite it's current mess of corruption that there's still good things that came from vietnam?

:stupid: his posts DO bother me a lot of times, but i agree, i'm getting even more bothered watching people who are normally respectful turn into flamers who constantly attack anything he says. for example, his 8 page flame war in automotives. i was really upset by his post too, and it was amusing and satisfying for about 2 pages to see people "set him straight"... but then it just wouldn't end! every day i'd check the last few posts, thinking, surely now, someone, anyone will say: "hey people, calm down, let's get over it and move on with our lives!". or even waiting for it to be locked. instead, the flames went on and on and on, until it was just a few people yelling the same insults at each other again and again.

There's no love lost between p3rsian and I, but I think you guys went to far in the whole "get out" thing. Yes, he is an egotistical materialistic megalomaniac, but he is still human...I think. Anyway, he is more than free to be proud of his nationality.

Why is Iran any different? Because they are part of the "Axis of evil"? Or because people have a blind hatred without reason?

One of the more interesting facts about that region is that before the problems Iran and Iraq had some of the better educated people in the world, its only too bad the mulahs in Iran and Saddam in Iraq allowed their respective countries to slip.

Both countries have proud and lengthy histories and they were some of the brighter spots in the world and possibly the center of many civilizations that sprung up all over the globe.

Whether p3rsian's past comments are cool or not, is this post really worth posting? That's great that he has pride, I have pride in my heritage too.
