SNSS - Longtime friend just passin' through...

Today I got a VERY unexpected call at work today...

One of my friends who I have known for almost 15 years but hardly ever see... just happened to be driving through town today (traveling from St. Louis to Baltimore)

She had timed her drive to be here right as I was getting off from work... so I offered her an invite to stop by and have dinner with me, DFJ, and DFJ's momma...

So I fired up the grill, put on some steaks, prepared a nice Ceasar salad, some buttered corn and some Pillsbury crescent rolls with some fresh lemonade... YUMMY!!! :lick:

It was SO nice to see her after all these years.... you can imagine all the reminiscing...

Well since she was just passing through, she was only able to spend about 4 hours with us... and now she is back on the road heading back East. Man... talk about a great end to an otherwise less than outstanding day. :D

That is cool, always nice to see an old face out of the blue. It is even better that you get to spend some time with them even though it may be only a little.
