The Gamecube, formerly known as Dolphin, is Nintendo's Next-Gen console. In another post there were pictures of it... hella ugly if you ask me... I seriously hope Nintendo isn't serious about marketing it that way...

The graphic is so fine on gamecube.

Gamecube is a 128bit gaming console made by Nintendo. The pic I posted are from the demo. Personally, I don't think the graphic is THAT bad.

Ya but the graphics aren't that good either... the system was what only 405mhz? They say they didn't go with the super power because instead they decided to make it easier to design for. Which should be an interesting path to follow... but if Nintendo continues their streak of child-type games and no real violent/mature orientad games they are gonna tank. The PS2 is going to dominate the market, but hey I guess we will just have to wait and see. I am personally looking forward to the X-box, microsoft is putting soooo much money into that thing and I have friends who work there so cheap games for me http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

Sure the psx2 is going to be good, but hey, Shigero Miyamoto is THE game god. And I love Zelda games.

I agree with IrishSS. The StarCube looks ugly. Its a purple block. That's not to say whats in it will be bad though. Hopefully nintendo will give the GameCube a cosmetic makeover to make it more pleasing to the eyes.

Personaly, besides the color, I think that thing looks pretty nice. It's deffinetly different. But I like. Kinda on the theme of Apples G4 box.

the final color scheme of the gamecube is yet to be decided... at the unveiling, they had several colors displayed... the cube is actually fairly small - maybe about the size of a lunch box

I think gamecube is pretty cute and you can connect it with Game Boy Advance. It seems that finally Nintendo moves on to the CD. Thank God. I wonder how much it is gonna be.

i like the silver... anyway, i can't wait for wave race^3, metroid^3, mario 128, and star wars rogue squadron^3. (yes yes, i know, the names probably won't end in ^3 or 128, but that's what some of them are being called right now.) wave race is one of my favorite console games still.

Alright it uses dvd technology! the N64 was hindered so much by those wimpy cartridges. Still think pc games are the bomb though, so I might have to wait for the x box.

I have to admit one thing even though psx rocked (I don't own one) I love my N64 simply because of the multi-player games. Ah yes lets see what are some good ones. . . Goldeneye, bomberman, mario par-tay 1 and 2, mario golf. . . and many more. . .

Oh and wave race rocks!!! I love that game to death. One thing Nintendo is doing good I guess as a marketing gimick is that the dvd is a 1.5 gb disc and is only 8 cm. Sooo people will think it's kinda cool looking like mini discs or something. . .
