I get this error everytime I try to run 3Dmark05:
"lDirect3DDevice9::CreatePixelShader failed: Invalid call (D3DERR_INVALIDCALL)"
Anyone know what that means or what I should to to correct it, I have the most current version of 3Dmark05 and 3Dmark03 runs fine on my computer! Thanks for the help!

You don;t have pixel shader 2.0. 3dmark05 wont run at all, and you arent running the mother nature test on 03 either.
If you want the eye candy, you gotta upgrade.

you acquire a video card that supports that feature.

Unfortunately that means getting a new video card. I almost bought a 4600 when I built my computer- they were good cards at the time. Now I am glad I got a Radeon 9700 non-pro- at least I can last a bit longer before I need an upgrade. Next one will need to be at least 256mb.

You need to get at least a GeForce FX5900xt (around $170). If you have another $100 to spend, get the vanilla GF 6800.
