Woo-Hoo! Just got my first "STFU" bang on the ceiling from the apartment neighbors...

Hehe... Got my brand new TV and was watching Return of the King. Big ass battle scene near the end, I feel "thump thump thump" on the floor (my floor, their ceiling.) Whoops... guess it was a tad loud. With 3 12" subs I guess it would tend to upset somebody, even if they are trying to do their homework... It is only 8pm... sheesh!

First time in 13 months of watching movies that neighbors have complained. We'll see if I can tick em off again here tomorrow afternoon/evening. :)

I also live in an Apartment and I got this Logitech Z-560 5.1 channel speakers, THe volume cant be even at 10%, I can barely hear it and they start jumping. Its so ****in annoying. So when they jump, I increase the volume and they jump to the tune. They dont have any manners. I dont even put it that loud. I cant even hear it in the next room. I feel like kicking their ass... When others put loud music, you can hear it but not that loud. I just took a big hammer and started hitting on the celling. Any Advice ??? Koreans on top...

yeah - go confront them face to face. tell them it's an apartment, and you are being as quiet as you can, and if that isn't good enough, they need to save up for either a house, earplugs, or anti-psychotic drugs. if you truly can't hear it in the next room, just go up there face to face, and the bullies will back down. be polite, but NOT apologetic. should work fine.

I tried it several times. I went and talked to them but they are just rude.... I cant even hear it in the next room and I dont know how the hell they can hear it so loud. I had to get a headphones, they jump so badly that sometimes your heart starts hurting. I am thinking of calling the Police.. Tired of this BS..

One dedicated sub and the fronts have 12"... and well, the rears have 8". All ported, all very nice. Overkill? Hehehe...

i just turn it up during the weekend.. so my neighbors kinda know.. and eventually they get use to it.. during the weekdays...
but i just dont do it that excessive... they know i'm a nice guy :)
