Doggone, that's one clever canine (http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/allnews/tm_objectid=14718760&method=full&siteid=50143&headline=who-let-the-dogs-out--name_page.html)
Cunning lurcher Red led mass kennel break-outs at a dogs' home - to raid the kitchens.
After staff left and the lights went out, the four-year-old would put his mouth around the bolt on his door, lift it, then draw back the lock.

The staff have gone home...so Red starts work on his door
He would then release his brother, Lucky, before liberating other dogs for midnight feasting and fun.
When staff at Battersea Dogs' Home turned up for work in the morning they kept finding mess everywhere and the dogs running wild.
Except, that is, for Red and his fawn-coloured brother who would always be dozing, a picture of innocence, back in their kennels.

Red makes his way along the corridor letting out his mates for some fun
After the 12th break-out staff at the South London home, mindful of its reputation for being haunted, decided to install CCTV - and all was revealed.
Staff member Becky Blackmore said: "We had to do something because we kept coming back to chaos every morning.
"There'd be lots of dogs running wild out of their block and lots of food gone.
"They'd be having fun and games but there was always a lot of mess."

Just a few more kennel doors to open and then it's time to raid the kitchens
She added: "Because we weren't sure what was going on, and because there are lots of stories about Battersea being haunted, we wanted to find an explanation.
"So we put in CCTV and finally caught the culprit - Red."
Red and Lucky, thought to have been abandoned by travellers, were very thin when the home took them in four months ago. Staff think that's why Red went looking for food every night.

First come first served as the doggy escapees begin their midnight doggy snack
Becky added: "We saw on the film that he'd always let out Lucky. They seemed to egg each other on. Red would then let the rest out.
"He would wait until after dark before he staged his break-outs because he knew what he was doing was wrong. It's surprising he did it really - and he was really good at it - because lurchers aren't renowned for intelligence."
Red has paid for his enterprise. The new lock on his door is far more complex.
