bitch.
the point of washing clothes is to clean them AND make them smell nice. your smoke may be fine in a bar, but this is a laundromat. you know, where you clean clothes and make them smell nice.
i repeated myself, cuz maybe you didnt understand me the first time.
also there is a nice bench outside that has an ashtray - go smoke there. do you see any ashtrays in here? no.
EDIT:
and do you have to smoke beside a couple with a small baby?
inconsiderate ass.

I and many of my friends can't wait for the day for smoking to be illegal in restaurants and bars in Pennsylvania. 25% of the population creating havoc for the rest of us...Yecchhh!!

no smoking in NYS restaurants/bars. the one thing we have going for us here.
but yes, it should be illegal in laundromats. anyone with 1/2 a brain would realize the reason why and go outside to burn one.

I think you should of pulled a Rube (slight variation) (from dead like me) "Am I an @$$hole, is everyone else in here an @$$hole? No, then it is just you, could you please go outside and smoke"

Time to get your own washer and dryer. If you go out in public every so often you will come up against crap like this. Only real way to aviod it is to actually avoid it.

Not to give you a hard time Merlin, but couldn't you say the same about smokers? if they want to avoid the crap of being interrupted while relishing their ciggy - wouldn't it be a possibility that this might be something that is better done in a more private place? I mean, they are the ones hurting non-smokers... Non-smokers are not giving anyone second hand smoke or asthma problems, so why should we be the ones to get out own washer/dryer???

Because he is the one being sensitive here. Look I hate smokers and aviod them whenever possible, however, I realize that they are out there and in certain situations I'm going to come in contact with them. I accept that.
Although that said, last week I was in a real swanky bar talking to a friend and the lady next to us lit up a particularly bad smelling cigarette. I said to my friend "wow, that one really stinks" I guess I said it loud enough to be heard because the look on her face was priceless. Telling someone that it is a bad habit doesn't do much. They get that all the time. But telling a woman at an upscale place that she smells bad, well....that gets them. :hehehmm:

it's of interest to me that some smokers will care about their outward appearance so much and let their mouths look like holy ole hell.

Thats one thing that moving to Georgia disapointed me. I was used to not having smoking in restaurants since it was banned in florida a while back. Then I move here and all the places have smoking. It makes going out to eat not fun at all. Plus, I hate dressing up to go to bars/clubs here because my clothes smell like ciggs when I get home, that didnt happen in Florida.
I'm always shocked there are people out there still smoking. Its so archaic and unattractive. Smokers will soon need smoker dating services, because who that doesn't smoke would date a smoker? Nobody I know.

Many condo and apartment dwellers can't get their own washers and dryers.

I think you should be permitted to "freshen" the air by sending a stream of pure oxygen (from a "canned air" type of container) in the direction of the smoker. :hihi:
