what's stopping me? praying hard for a miracle so that my father didn't die of cancer. didn't happen for me. which doesn't make me not want to see it happen for others.

Yeah I hear ya. It's a matter of perspective I suppose. I have a hard time believing in miracles - but that is also, just my humble opinion.
At least we can agree that this was both very unexpected and very pleasant :)

hmm interesting. As a seattle native I agree with grubs, in that area how can you not tell something happened? And wouldn't they think to trace all the possible routes home from where she was and check all the roads?
