Anyone remember Surge? It was out about 5-10 years ago. They had those commercials where teenagers were moshing and I think they did couch hurdles in it. Anyway, it didn't taste the best in my opinion but I think it had a little extra jolt of caffeine

I have a test in 2.5 hours, so I went to buy a Mountain Dew/Mello Yello type product to assist in waking up, and I thought of it. :2far:

UPDATE: I'm in a study area right now, and looking around, over half of the people studying down here at tables are asleep on top of their books :hihi: get these kids some Surge!

The one soft drink I miss is Crystal Pepsi. Except for its funky after-taste. Every time I hear Van Halen's "Right Now" I think of that.

Ah surge, I remember that stuff. I actually know somebody who loves it and would almost do anything for a can of it. He told me a 24pack went on ebay for over 100$

Somebody trying to get 10$ for one damn can, jeez....

Yeah I remember it. Really, really bad advertising. Looking back, that was the very beginning of the "Xtreme" marketting trend we are currently flooded with. From the humble acorn...

I think that they still sell "Jolt" which is essentially the same thing - a whole lot of sugar and caffeine!

The best was when 7-Eleven was selling Surge Slurpees. Best ones ever :P

When I found out Coca-Cola was discountinuing Surge, I went to Costco and bought myself a few 24-packs. I still have a few of them around my basement somewhere, although I'm really afraid that they're expired.
