Maximum budget is $100...
I have no idea of what DVD burner to get...

Burns faster than my computer can feed it data. Not one bad disc yet.

I heard Sony is really picky on media so you have to pay extra for "brand name" ones.

I heard that there is an unoffiial Firmware that will raise the Pioneer DVR-108 CD-R writing speed from 32x to 48x ?? Is there any??
