deal for amd64 3500+?

newegg is offering the amd64 3500+ for $294 shipped. i was wondering if this is a good deal for one of these cpu's. i've been eyeing these cpu's for a while as i plan on building a system later on in december. they've usually been in the $320-$370 range, and now it's finally under the $300 range. i don't want to buy it just yet if the price is going to continue to fall. but, yeah...is this a good deal or should i wait some more?

It appears there are a few nm variations on this chip, but monarchcomputer has the 3500+ 939 for $284.

Just recently there was a drop in AMD CPUs. What really sucks is I ordered this CPU a week before they dropped in price. Maybe I should call Monarch and ask for the difference?

You can try... If the difference is greater than the restocking fee you could return it and reorder it if they wont play ball with you.
