I think this is pretty big news, mostly due to the price (19,800 Yen -- or around $190 US). Considering the Nintendo dual-screen had the same price both here and Japan (around $150 US), this is very sad news for Nintendo (and good news for us).

Also, it's expected to have between 4-6 hours of battery life (in other words, about what I expected). Extra batteries WILL be available though (but I don't know about an external charger).
