I ordered a bunch of comics from a store in NY. (The one I posted last week with the books well below list value) It took a week for my books to get here and then to top it off the weather delayed the delivery by another day. Last night when I was checking through all of the books, I noticed that one of the books, which looked perfect on the outside, had some ruffled pages on the inside. As a collector, that defect really changes the value of the book. As such, I immediately called the store, told them which book what the issue was and they apologized and are sending out a replacement book immediately! To top it off, they told me not to worry about sending back the other book.

I have to say that the store really takes care of everything and is extremely customer aware. Two thumbs way up. They already had me happy before with my past dealings from them, but to know that their philosophy/demeanor is still there when there is a problem is great to know.

That's cool. You took a big chance buying collectibles sight unseen. Glad you didn't get burned.

I have bought from this company before, they guarantee that they will be mint condition and heavily advertise. On top of that, I have friends and family who could go into their acutal location and raise hell if need be.

This is the second place I have bought comics from online. The first place royally screwed the pooch and I wont give them any more business. The package never arrived, they resent it which took a few weeks to arrive...the comics all arrived damaged. Then they had me return the damaged books and sent me replacements. Of course, they refunded the shipping charges I paid to send them back the defective merchandise. To top it all off, they credited my online account with them rather than refund my credit card. It took several months of me asking for my refund to get them to properly credit it. The only benefit was they ended up crediting the entire amount of my purchase....which means that I got the order for only the price of the return shipping.

Could i ask what site this is? I looked around a bit and could not find your other post... I'm glad things worked out. Some companies are definitely in the business of customer satisfaction adn i truy dont mind paying them a bit more to do the job well.
