More than just a deal I would like to get opinions on the best electric shaver on the market...I'm looking at the Braun 6550, Norelco Quadra Action, Panasonic wet/dry...have any of you used one of these shavers? Are they worth the price?? Thanks!

Braun makes a very good electric shaver. The model 6550 is no exception. I was using a Braun until about a year ago (I forget which model), and it provided me with a very comfortable and irritation-free shave, but not a terribly close one, unless I put a lot of time and effort into it. Still, I have a tough beard and sensitive skin, so the Braun was actually a pretty fair compromise on that difficult combination.
I'm unfamiliar with the Norelco Quadra Action.
As for the Panasonic -- wet/dry sounds like one of those great ideas, but in practice the typical wet/dry shaver tends to fall short. It does a mediocre job on wet shaves, and a poor-to-mediocre job on dry ones. (Anyway, if you're going to shave in the shower, seriously consider just hanging a mirror in there and using a blade.)
One shaver you failed to mention, but which I'd like to recommend, is the Remington Intercept model 2830. Normally sells for around $190, although I got mine at the Remington factory outlet in Lancaster, PA, for $159. I've been using it for about a year now, and am mostly satisfied. I should point out that I use it with a Remington pre-shave powder stick (FaceSaver), which really does permit a much closer, smoother shave.
A lot depends on what your beard is like. The "best" electric shaver for someone with a very tough, curly beard, may not be the best for another guy with a fine beard but very sensitive skin. Consequently, if at all possible, buy from a place that will give you a 30 day return privilege, should the shaver turn out not to suit you. (But give it a couple of weeks before making up your mind.)
Finally, I have shaved with a straight razor (a Dovo) in the past, and while it's more bother than I like, it makes me feel good to know that should I be magically transported back in time 100 years, I'll still be able to go clean-shaven. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif
Thanks for the info Mike7! I had never heard of a pre-shave powder stick but now I will have to go out and get one. I think I am leaning towards the Braun but I will go check out the Remington.
