menu fade-out?

Can somebody tell me where I can configure whether right-click menus fade-out or immediately disappear?

XP? right-click 'My computer', click Properties, click the 'Advanced' tab, under 'Performance' click 'settings'. The option you are looking for is 'Fade or Slide menus into view'
