Hey guys. I got in on the laptop deal $750 a little while ago, and just now am getting around to playing with my new toy. Anyway, when I open internet explorer, all images on all webpages are distorted. They are very pixilated and look like they have artifacts. I have isolated this problem down to ONLY internet explorer, the images appear fine on other browsers, and look fine when I save images to my hard drive for viewing elsewhere. I would like to use internet explorer, so downloading and using opera or netscape are not fixes to my problem. In the internet explorer settings I have tried "allow image resizing" and "smart image dithering" on both the on and off settings to no avail.
Thanks for your help guys and gals. :throw:

Change the DPI setting in the display properties (settings -> advanced -> general) from Large Size (120 DPI) to Normal Size (96 DPI). Reboot.

haha, most phone tech people suck.
either they have no idea what they're doing and can't help you if their life depended on it, or they're too smart and can't explain anything to you in 'stupider-then-they-are people' terms.
