I have had dixiesys for the past two years. During that time I had more than my fair share of down time. But over all they where pretty good for what I'm paying them.

But now they are no longer maintaining their old servers (www13 which I'm on). They have closed access to the database. Their mail server has 500,000 emails in query, I get emails 4-5 days late, as well as other problems.

I have contacted support but they pretty much so cant do anything for me and suggest that I move to one of their newer servers. But with no database access to transfer my database, no SSH which means I will have to constantly reconnect to the FTP in order to download all of the files.. this is impossible to do.

It would have been nice if they would have at least been helpful with letting me know of the problems of www13 BEFORE they became a problem and before they shut down access to the database, but they didn't.

So... since I will have to change servers anyway, there is no benefit of me staying on dixiesys, given my past experience with them. So does anyone else know of any hosting providers that they like?

I ask that the server has all of the basic functions from php, perl, cgi, mysql... etc, on a reseller account.

Thanks!

Personally, for reseller accounts, I use www.alphaomegahosting.com

So far, they've been good to me. :D

I'm thinking about www.HostPC.com right now after a reference from this board. Does anyone have any experience with them? They have a nice reseller package on sale right now, the price is right and they have what I'm looking for. I just hope that they are good.

I use Globat.com. I have 2 coupons for 50% off your first year of service as well. PM me if you're interested.
