Did you guys watch this...
Definitely different approach to "reality gaming"....
Would you quit your job for a chance to do what your life's desire is? Personally... I dunno if I could do it without any guarantees. :D
And of course, Rev. Al Sharpton basically had to tell 'em like it is... :D

I like Al Sharpton. I mean, granted I have some issues with him, but he's a funny guy. Crazy, but funny.

Well for starters... they took 8 guys who hated their jobs (yeah... I'm sure you coulda guess that) and they formed 2 teams.
Team one included:
Dude who wanted to be a Hockey Coach (who's currently a Handyman)
Dude who wanted to be a Model (who's current job was a "sh@t shoveler)
Dude who wanted to be a Stuntman
Dude who wanted to be a Cartoonist
Team two included
Dude who wanted to be a Club Owner (he was a currently a teacher)
Dude who wanted to be a Custom Chopper Builder
Dude who wanted to be an Actor
Dude who wanted to be a Standup Comic (he was currently a lawyer)
I don't remember the professions of the other guys.
Well task one for both groups was to go out and find clothes that matched their job desires... and meet Al Sharpton for dinner at a restaurant at 8:00 p.m. Basically they had 5 hours to complete this task, however there was a catch.
They couldn't use any money or credit cards to buy the clothes... which meant that they had to work all kinds of odd jobs and beg for the stuff that they needed to complete their outfits.
Pretty much Al told them that the first team to get to the restaurant would get something "special"... and that he would not tolerate anyone being "late" (and they could read into what that would mean...)
Well they all set off finding their clothes... and both teams just barely made it in time (Team 2 won...) For winning, Team 2 got a full night's head start on preparing for challenge #2 which would be an elimination challenge.
Basically in challenge #2, Al put together some tasks for each person to do based upon their chosen career desire.
The Hockey guy had to teach 2 guys how to take a shot on goal and give an "inspiring team speech"
The Stuntman guy had to perform some stunts with some props
The Chopper Customizer guy had to customize a bicycle using duct tape and some misc items
The Cartoonist had to draw and illustrate a cartoon about his hated job
The Stand-up comedian had to do 7 minutes of comedy about his hated job
The Actor had to perform some lines of Shakespeare
The Club Owner had to concoct a new alchoholic beverage and market it
The Model had to walk the runway and model several sets of clothes and strike certain "poses".
Pretty much at the end of the competition, Al said that 4 guys would be going home that night... and he ended up picking the Comic, the Club Owner, the Model, and the Chopper Customizer to continue on in the competition. Pretty much he said that he felt that these were the guys who could most likely succeed in doing their "dream"... and he didn't want to put the other guys "out of work" on a whim.
Basically, that was a synopsis of last night's show... and it continues tonight on Spike TV. :D
