You know its sad when your father in law calls up to check whether he can bring down his DVD writer and your computer cant support it because the processor is too slow! He asked my wife first and when she answered him he didnt beleive it so he asked me and I had to say the same thing. This is so sad to me that its funny.
On top of that he bought one for her grandfather too....so even his computer is faster than mine.
I really need to get off my duff about this. (Oh, responsible spending how I hate thee!) :throw: There now I need a new one. :hihi:

500 mhz P3. Most dvd burners require at least 750 mhz. This was my old system....which I had to fall back on...and as much as I look/shop try to find what I want to get, I havent been able to justify replacing it while we are still paying off our damn wedding.

I have an Athlon XP 2200+ and MB sitting around here. If I get you in the SS, it's yours!

Have you considered an Overdrive Processor? Sometimes you can get them cheap on EBay.

Nope...thats what happened when my Dell crapped out and they didnt do what they should have done.
(And yes, this is what happens when I refuse to give into the price because of my previous experiences.)
