First, this admittedly isn't as bad as many of the problems that a lot of Apexers have been having lately. Is it me or has this been a bad year for a lot of people? Friends dying, losing children/parents, people getting cancer, husbands bailing, pet problems, etc.


Anyhow, I had the flu almost 2 weeks ago. Worst I've ever had. BUT...that's not saying much since I've never really had the flu. Nausea, fever, no puking but....

I lost 10 pounds and still haven't gained it back. That's the NSS part. However, my appetite is still pretty weak. I can't eat very much without feeling full and it seems like it takes forever for my food to digest. I feel full for a long time and seem to have a lot of acid in my GI tract.

Kinda sucked on Thanksgiving cuz after one 3/4 full plate I couldn't eat anything else. And I never had dinner cuz I was still full.

I have no idea what's going on but it's a bit irritating.

I got the flu last year. I got really sick and then my low grade asthma kicked in and became the worst in my life. It took three separate treatments of Prednisone and other medications to cure it. I was sick for nearly 6 weeks.

Fortunately, I got a flu shot this year and hope it works.

If you lie down a lot, it aggravates Acid Reflux. That's what the doctor told me last year.

cheapie, it sounds like that flu really took a lot out of you. your appetite may still be off because of the lingering acid reflux. if it doesn't get better soon go see your doc.

i'm thinking about picking up some otc prilosec. that stuff usually works wonders. plus i haven't excersized in a couple weeks. my appetite might be off because of that as well.
