The rebate says "participating retailers" and since Buy.com doesn't list this in their rebate section, I assume they are not participating. The rebate house will probably reject the rebate. :throw:

I have this router and it's the biggest POS in the world. If you just use the default settings it's fine, but if you want to change the subnet ip to something other than 192.168.1.xxx it screws up and you can't connect to it. If you change it to access point only mode, it screws up. By "screws up" I mean something in the logic gets confused and it uses a random IP address, and the only way to get it back to normal is a hard reset using the reset button (erasing all your settings). This was confirmed when I emailed Belkin. I have a Belkin, SMC, and a Netgear router and by far the best in terms of reliability and painlessness is the SMC barricade.

Anyway if you're just looking for a simple router and don't care about changing much of anything important, then it probably works fine, but if you're experienced and looking for a reliable home router or dedicated access point, I'd look elsewhere.

Also wanted to add, the thing is bigger than most routers. I'd estimate 30-40% larger than my barricade or netgear.

It's available again...unfortunately, it's now $49.99, so now it's no longer a super deal. Deal dead as far as I'm concerned. :neartears
