My order from Circuit had a similar issue. I contacted them on Friday and was told that UPS apparently was reusing numbers and that it should be fixed by Monday (today). When I looked today, it was showing my scheduled delivery information but the old info was still up. The least they could do is zero out the previous information.

hmm...that is an issue with the software the companies are using.
It's been a few years but I remember it could be a couple things causing it. They do eventually get re-used/recycled, but it shouldn't happen 3 times in a year.

Probably with more people shipping things and the holidays, numbers are circling faster. I imagine the software gets rid of tracking info thats more then X days old, but now that the numbers are beings reused to fast they are back out in the world before X days is up.
I blame free ipods :)

It actually has to do with a flag in the database and how the software was registered. It was a big common thing during upgrades to the software. People would upgrade and have an issue, their IT person would go grab the database and wipe the system clean of the UPS stuff, reinstall and drop the database back into it. The system would reuse the tracking #s. It would screw up thier billing and stuff.
It wouldn't happen all the time, but we would have to reflag the database so the system would DL a new set of random numbers from the main system.
