trophy was in Santa Monica
they brought it out here!
most people paid 10 bucks at the door
but i've been going to that bar forever...
sonny's was one of the bars you guys saw during the world series
so they let the bar faithfuls in for free :)
the trophy itself came in a limo!
gabe kapler and dave roberts came.. i sat talked to roberts for 30 min!
awesome day... i even got to kiss the trophy!

Congradulations. And that's coming from a Yankee fan. Getting to see the trophy and a photo, now that makes me jealous. Closest I can come was when I had a photo taken next to the Stanley Cup. But the Cup was in a glass enclosure. You actually got to touch the WS trophy. :thumb:

yeah it's nuts. I understand the reasoning though, they sold out every game this year so its not like the attendance will go up, and they can only add so many people to fenway before it explodes.

so the only option left is to up the prices.. i think it was something like 11% on average.. yikes!

I'll get me some cheap bleacher seats though :)

They really need to redo the park, but it will never happen.
