i don't like coffee flavored coffee; therefore, i don't drink it.

On a side note: I went to starbucks about 6 months ago, and go a hot chocolate, and it sucked. HTF do you mess up hot chocolate, AND charge me $3 for it :disa:

i don't like the flavored stuff too much, but I do like a good cafe au lait (that's a misto for those who only speak Starbucks) around noon. it's cold in my office here for some reason, so I'm tempted to go get some coffee now to try and warm up.

how many times do i have to tell you eSDEE, there's more to life than being really, really good looking.

but I do like a good cafe au lait (that's a misto for those who only speak Starbucks) around noon.

that so irritates me. i just found out that they call it a misto recently. for years i've had to explain what the drink was, and nobody ever told me they called it something different. half the time i was told it wasn't on the menu and they couldn't make it.

i think about 3 years ago i found out they called it a misto. my mom actually told me after i recounted to her that people at Starbucks didn't know what a cafe au lait was. why they can't call it a cafe au lait is beyond me. i mean, they use the other "standard" coffee names like espresso, latte, mocha, etc. i guess they just had to be different on this one. bastages...

I take my morning caffeine cold-- Coca-Cola Classic.

There's a Starbucks in the lobby of the building where I work, so I'm down there a few times during the week, usually for an afternoon keep-me-awaker. I'm not a coffee drinker, so the closest thing I get is a mocha with an extra shot or two.

Failing that, there's a Jamba Juice down the street. :lick:

Tea drinker... as for waking up (only for extreme times when I'm really tired) is a cold shower with no hot water... blast cold water on and jump in. After the screaming is over, I'm completely awake.

Actually, the only time I really drink coffee is around Christmastime when I am back home hangin' with my family.

I have one cousin who is into "gourmet coffee", so I usually partake at that time... But as in anything else, I must have it very sweet (almost like having coffee with my sugar...) I don't like anything bitter (as stated before in the beer thread) therefore the heavy sugar is a must, cream is optional. :D

i'm sure you've heard this before, but good coffee properly prepared is not bitter.

I like my coffee the same way I like my beer, dark and bitter. I'll drink the machi-caramelly stuff, but that's more of a dessert for me. And then there's Yorbe Mate a nice tea with some kick to it.

Double or triple espresso, or, failing that, a large black coffee.

I'm always astounded when I go into a coffee shop and order a double or triple espresso and some clerk quickly corrects me, "you mean a DOE-PEE-YO?" Or even "Trip-pee-yo? EX-presso?" :2far:

Don't think so. Perhaps I'll try asking for a quadruppio or something. Real, yes. Necessary, no. Used to correct me when I ask for a double espresso? #$% no! Unless I ask, "vorreo uno doppio di espresso per favore" or something.

Houdini <---had a long day surrounded by annoying people, didn't drink much coffee, and is justifiably grumpy. :spock:

they do, but they use silk soymilk which is NOT good after you steam it. it gets very chalky.

i saw this guy get whomped in the nutz at a basketball game the other night. it took him about 5 minutes to recover. he was having a hard time breathing and the coach just sent him to the side and didn't pay any attention to him.

You can substitute Silk Soymilk (as BI pointed out) for any milk product at Starbucks.

I don't find it to be chalky when it's steamed, and I actually prefer it in either a mocha (peppermint mocha this time of year) or a chai.

Nah, I was just curious about what I was capable of. There is a big mental block to inflicting self harm.

Nah, I was just curious about what I was capable of. There is a big mental block to inflicting self harm.Well, if this is a problem for you there are a number of chemical substances which can eliminate those barriers.

You know, if that's your thing and all, you know? Its cool with me, really. No judgements here.

Chemical substances are a crutch for those without the testicular fortitude to knock themselves in the aforementioned body part. :P

Luckily that was a phase in my life that I've gotten past. I no longer have the need to run tests to see what I'm capable of. I have since learned that life gives me plenty of opportunities to test myself while being productive.
