Math section when I took it (2002) was almost like the SAT. So more like geometry and algebra and I didn't encounter any calc problems.

Goes up to trig... no calc so don't worry about that. Most engineers i know get near perfects or perfect cause it's like HS math...

However... they bomb the english section hehe.

i was just talking to my friend about this today. she told me that she tried barons, kaplan, etc. as study guides. ironically, the best verbal study guide she ever used was one made by koreans. hahhaha

heehee... yeah, i took it in 98, but it hasn't changed. the math is SAT math plus a few trig questions. i actually didn't brush up on my trig, missed all the trig questions (i think) and still scored in the 98th or 99th percentile. so, don't worry :P

as for verbal, the best study guide i had was some stuff my high school english comp teacher handed out in class... photocopies of SAT word lists. PRM actually sat down with those 3 days before and started memorizing them, and he scored way better on the verbal section of the GRE than he ever has before on any verbal section of any other standardized test.

Yeah... it's minimal prep time really. I did it when applying for my Ph.D in economics and ironically got 750 across the board. I only took a week to prepare
