19" 700:1 DVI Sceptre for $289 is back (yesterday's deal)

What do you guys think about this monitor? Apex posted the link yesterday..then it was out of stock and back in today.

Any idea if the tigerdirect one is an open-box or refurb? I don't see anything that says this..and the rebate form lists this model as the product the rebates apply to.

I'm so confused. $289 seems like a really good deal for a 19" but there's got to be a catch somewhere, right? Like this monitor blows up after 6 months or seomthing. :gle:

PS I talked with TigerDirect & found out the monitor is 'back-ordered' but they do expect them in by Dec. 5 which is why the 'usually ships in 5-7 days' is listed on the webpage.

They also have a decent selection of 128mb AGP cards with dvi-out for less than $50 if you want to get the best quality picture from this monitor.

PPS I noticed this deal popped up at edealinfo.com today as well.
