I'm looking for two (at least one) external drive enclosures. I need one that will hold a 5.25" drive and one 3.5" drive (can only use USB). Thought I would check here before paying retail from somewhere. PM me here if you are looking to get rid of one.
Thanks!

Okay, give me a little bit to think about it. I just had a thought today that I might decide to buy an older box to throw the CD-RW and HD into instead of spending $60 on two enclosures.

so you want 5.25 and 3.5?? Cause this one supports only one at a time...

Yeah, I have a Sony 52x CD-RW and an 80GB WD HD. I need to use both of them. I saw one enclosure on pricewatch that was hot-swappable, but I really fear handling the HD that much, let alone putting it in an enclosure at all. I think those HD's are only rated to a couple of G's (I also read somewhere dropping from 1 inch high) before you jam the head.
So basically I either need two enclosures like you have, one that is hot swappable, or a cheap rig to plug them both into.

well I would go for two enclosures cause you dont want to mess with the HD and its going to be hot... Or a external exclosure which can handle both...But that costs around $100...

Hey Delta, I think I'll go ahead and do it. I came here to tell you that I thought I was going to wait, but I want to be able to access my backed up data on HD. I am going to email you through here or PM you if that doesn't work.
