Where you asked someone out or were asked out that were not your normal places. (rejected/accepted?)
I mean not like at a party or bar or something.
Me...
Hmmm... on a flight back from U. Penn Med School interview to Berekely. Cute blond I sat near. Talked for a while. Asked for her # and called and went out the next week. (accepted)
In line waiting for a ride at an amusement park. (accepted)
At a car wash waiting for car to get done. (accepted)
Ordering frozen yogurt (accepted)
At a dog park (rejected... I didn't have a dog... maybe that was why)

You should of told her you would let her "pet" something else instead.

None for me, but my college roommate answered the phone one day, it was a wrong number. He ended up chatting to her for over an hour and then went on a few dates with her.

hmmm. i got nothin. i got asked out on a city bus by a guy who had been talking to me for awhile, and we had a few dates... then i got set up on the blind half of a double date to the movies and wound up dating that guy for two years... ummm... at an enginerd summer camp in hs, a hit on a hottie while we built toothpick bridges and cement canoes together til it ended up in makeout city back at the dorm... and the last three relationships were all good friends first. they ended in hooking up at a bonfire, on his sofa after a night out, and in his living room after a party, respectively. sorry; i'm booooooooring.

When I was in college there was this cute girl who worked at the local photo store. I was doing a bunch of photos for our fraternity and as such I was in there a whole lot. Ended up chatting with her more and more each time until I finally asked her out. We went out a few times, but I think I screwed it up when I acted like a gentleman even after being invited into her place. (I didnt make a move since we had just been on a few dates and for some reason, after that we didnt go out again......which is why I say it was due to me being good)
Otherwise, I think they all are normal...lots of school, bars, and tons of party situations.
I started talking with this girl at Mardi Gras one year.....we ended up spending 5+ hours together, talking, walking, gathering beads, and getting lots of free drinks. I ran into one of my friends that I came there with who was mad as hell with me for ditching them for a chick. While I was dealing with him, we got separated in the crowd and that was the last I saw of her. (I was trying not to piss my friend off anymore by running to find her and she also had told me that she should really find some of her friends that she came with, so I figured she had found her)
The funniest part of that whole finding my friend thing was that we ended up getting separated again, one of my friends ended up sleeping on the floor at one hotel (fraternity brothers room), another ended up sleeping at another hotel (another fraternity brothers room), and I ended up sleeping in my car like we all had originally planned. I made my way back to Burbon street the next day and ran into the same friend I had lost the night before. We never found the third guy until 29 hours after we lost him, the saddest part was I had his money, clean clothes, and the only set of keys to where they were kept too! :hihi: -- This was before cell phones were commonplace...I was the only one who had one, so we couldnt just call each other to coordinate.

Dude, this happens to everyone at Mardi Gras. I think it counts as a party :P.

If you could sit with my buddies and I (you get the drinks, of course) we could feed you stories for hours.

Notice, I placed it under the party category and not the other...although its not exactly what most would consider a traditional party. And as for stories.....tons of them, none suitable for a family environment.....good times.

lets see... hooked up with a girl last new years party (farily normal i guess)
hooked up with a girl at my bday party, well, actually at the strip club after we ate at my bday party last year. (not a stripper, just someone that went with us)
dated a waitress at the restraunt i used to frequent every friday night. asked her out while sitting at the bar, even though she wasnt old enough to be behind the bar. (she kept sneaking over to chat with me)
hooked up with the girl i just took to dallas in the middle of downtown in a big plaza outside the ball park at like 11:30 one friday night. She was walking off a buz, and i was about to take off on the bike. Ended up talking till 2:30am and she volunteered her number (damn i'm good :) )

I was once hit on by this girl in a lab class that started at like 8 in the morning...usually at that time of day, i'm so tired that most of what is spoken doesn't really register...
1st attempt:
....girl walks up to me..."hi, my name is *****"
...i just sit there and stare...
...girl..."do you have a name?"
..."uh..yea, it's g222leav"
..."umm, yea, nice to meet you..." she walks away in a confused manner
2nd attempt (on a different day)
..."hey g222leav, what are you doing after the lab?"
..."nothing really"
..."some friends and i are gonna go have breakfest after class..."
***pause***
...at this point i think so was so confused by me that she lost concentration and blurted..."do you eat?"
...at which I respond yea....
of course i didn't really realize what was going on until hours later (that she was attempting to talk to me)
another girl once asked me while we were walking to the parking lot for my number....
she goes..."hey, how about I give you my number, and you can call me if you have any questions about our exam"
I take the number...she silently waits for me to offer mine...which I do but only in afterthought...
later i recount this story with a buddy of mine who points out...that she offered her number AFTER we took our exam...my buddy is like...why would she give you her number in case you needed to ask her about an exam that you just finished...in his words..."dude, you're an idiot"

hee hee... yeah I as thinking the same thing.
Some guy last week asked me out after only talking to him on the phone to schedule a showing appointment for his house. Another time I was working in the Drive-thru at McD's, the day before my wedding, and some guy with his hands down his pants asked me out.

That's not true. I had a girl give me her number after an exam and said to call her if I had any questions about the exam, well... I looked up a couple of questions that I wasn't sure about and one of them the notes were ambiguous about and so I wasn't sure if I had gotten the answer right so I called her and asked. We talked for about half an hour, she agreed with my answer and then I said bye and hung up.
