Yup, a 2HP gas powered engine on a blender base will make short work of that 10lb bag of ice! Plus, it's portable and can probably double as a wood chipper!

ha ha ha i have that hotdog cooker, it's sweet! only thing is it's a pain to clean, but makes great hot dogs! :)

the only problem with that gas powered blender is that it's loud as hell. REI has a hand crank version i like much better.

My dad would be all over those. He's a total gearhead, its really funny. When he was young his passion was cars. Once he bought the house it became stocking up the basement and cellar with carpentry, shop, and landscaping equipment. Finally came the crazy kitchen equipment (much of which now also resides in the basement. ), and computers. We owned a pong machine before ataris came out. Our first PC was a Texas Instruments 99/4A with 16 kilobytes of memory, TV hookup for a screen, a tape recorder to save and load files, and could load cartridges on top like an Atari.


(to his credit, he really did get good use out of the construction stuff. Built an addition to the house, landscaped the backyard a couple of times. Built a pool and nice deck to go along with it, then took it all down after we kids grew up. Now he's just finished this summer a lounge deck originally planned for when he built the addition, overlooking the backyard with a flight of stairs down)


(This guys 64! 5 years ago he had to learn to walk all over again after 3 weeks in a coma after a car wreck! And now he's going up ladders and building sturdy wooden structures! The guy's an iron horse. He can't be stopped. He figured he'd go right back to work after he got out of the hospital, but my mother probably would have shot him in right there in the bed if he didn't reconsider.)
