My sister is giving her 6 year old son an Xbox for Christmas. Can someone recommend a game I can buy him for Christmas?

Is he a big fan of merciless violence against alien hordes? Because Halo 2 gets good reviews. :)
Seriously, I'd go with either a sports game or other children's themed game. Big Jon's suggestions were pretty good. And I believe they have a Shrek game for XBox. Going through EBgames.com is another good idea, because if you buy the preplayed versions, you can use a 15% off coupon (CAG15), and there's also a free shipping coupon for new OR used games (I forget that code, but it's at www.cheapassgamer.com).

Grabbed by the ghoulies I think is a kids game, not sure if he is too young for it. but no violence, made by RARE, cartoon graphics. I think that is the one I would recommend.

Grabbed by the Ghoulies is about a brother and a sister in an adventure type game. Got good reviews for a kids game.

The reason I said he might be too young is I am not sure if there are puzzles and stuff in the game. It should be the perfect game for him, I ended up buying it from the MS company store but never played it. That one is the one off the top of my head that seems like a perfect fit.

if its not too late, i would tell ur sis to get him the gamecube instead. they offer more child oriented games than ps2 and xbox.

It is a scary thought but this six year old already has a gamecube and a ps2. Now he wants an xbox since my husband has one. He is a video game addict at a very young age.

yeah i got into gamin at about 5-6 yrs old. my little cousins started at 3-4. they grow up quicker nowadays! hehehe
Just remember to check the game ratings. M (Mature) is a definite no-no. T (Teen) is a stretch too. You're mostly looking at E (Everyone) games, and K-A (Kids-to-Adults) if they still have that category.
