For as long as I can remember-every SINGLE YEAR-right before Christmas, I have car trouble..and today was the day folks.

Sounds exactly like the situation here... Steering column switch (controls lights and signals), on our truck just broke :dead: and the replacement part's overdue... OTOH, the rack and pinion steering assembly for the Honda is beautiful and new... now if I can only figure out how to remove the old one. It's just another test.
